50 Fully-Funded Scholarships for Education Abroad Professionals

Equity, diversity, and inclusion aren't just buzzwords for international educators. We all know that we must double down in our commitment to build a more connected and compassionate world. These scholarships are a small way to show up for our colleagues who seek professional development in this critical area of learning.

New Scholarship to Break Barriers in Advancing Equity and Inclusion Abroad

In celebration of International Education Week and CIS Abroad's upcoming 25th Anniversary, we are funding 50 scholarships for The Forum on Education Abroad's "Making Equity, Diversity & Inclusion the Standard" asynchronous course!

These scholarships aim to support education abroad professionals at HBCUs, MSIs, or other institutions in states where legislation prevents the institution from approving funding for the course. We believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to advance their knowledge and skills in this critical area.

The self-paced, fully asynchronous course is designed to guide global educators in prioritizing equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) as part of the education abroad experience.  The course aims to help you move forward in your work with an expansive look at EDI in the U.S. today.
