PLAY AND LEARN WITH US
Amazing Places Race
Just as we encourage our students to do while abroad, the purpose of this scavenger hunt is for you to get to know San Diego like the locals do…. All within a mile of the Convention Center.
As a team of four, you’ll solve puzzles and other challenges as you scavenger hunt your way from the Convention Center to our reception. This is a battle of the minds more than a physical race to the finish line. Build a team of friends or colleagues or register individually and we’ll place you on a team.
Race Details
- Wednesday, May 28th
- Starts at 4:30 PM at the Convention Center
- Ends at our Reception (see details below)
- Register here! (Each team member should complete the quick registration form)
- Deadline: May 9th, but register early to ensure your spot!
Grand Prize!
$500 ScholarTrip flight voucher for each winning team member.
Spirit Award!
The team with the most spirit will get a $500 scholarship to award to a semester study abroad student attending a CIS Abroad program (one per institution).
How it works:
- The game is played on a mobile app.
- Teams will be made up of 4 people (each participant will complete the registration form and you can note who you’d like to team up with if you have team members – if you don’t have team members in mind, we’ll put you in a team!).
- All clues are completed on foot and within a mile of the Convention Center. Speed does not earn you points.
- The hunt ends at our reception so you’ll be able to relax and have food and drinks with colleagues.
