Day: Students to arrive in Finland and make their way to Hilton Helsinki Airport Hotel on their own

Day 2: Sunday – May 22, 2016
9:15AM: Group to meet in the hotel lobby at 9:15AM sharp to catch coach bus to Tampere
9:30AM: Depart Helsinki for Tampere, check into accommodations in Tampere
Afternoon: Visit Amuri Museum of Worker’s Housing and Tampere Art Museum
6:30PM: Group Welcome Dinner at Viikinkiravintola Harald

Meals: Breakfast, dinner
Transportation: Helsinki to Tampere (private coach bus), accommodations to visits (public transportation and walking)

Day 3: Monday – May 23, 2016
8AM: Meet in lobby to take public transportation to The UKK – Institute of Health Promotion Research
2-3PM: Guided tour of Tampere Cathedral
Afternoon: Visit to Tampere Market Hall

Transportation: Accommodations to visits (public transportation and walking)

Day 4: Tuesday – May 24, 2016
9:30AM: Depart Tampere for Jyvaskyla and check into accommodations
Afternoon: Guided tour of the Museum of Central Finland, followed by a guided tour of the Alvar Aalto Museum
6:30PM: Group dinner at Harmooni Restaurant

Meals: Breakfast, dinner
Transportation: Tampere to Jyvaskyla (private coach bus), public transport in Jyvaskyla

Day 5: Wednesday – May 25, 2016
8:45AM: Meet in lobby for coach bus to Petajavesi to take a guided tour of Petajavesi Old Church
11:15AM-2PM: Public health lectures at High School in Keuruu followed by lunch
2-4PM: Free time to explore Keuruu
4PM: Depart Keuruu on coach bus to Kumpunen Farm for group dinner and smoke sauna experience
5-8PM: Group dinner
8PM: Depart Kumpunen Farm back to Jyvaskyla

Meals: Breakfast, lunch, dinner
Transportation: Accommodations in Jyvaskyla to visits (private coach bus)

Day 6: Thursday – May 26, 2016
10:13AM: Depart on train from Jyvaskyla to Helsinki
1:52PM: Arrive into Helsinki and transfer to hotel
Evening: Enjoy free time to explore the area with La Vida Local cultural activity suggestions available from CISabroad On-Site Program Coordinator

Transportation: Jyvaskyla to Helsinki (train tickets), public transportation passes in Helsinki

Day 7: Friday – May 27, 2016
8AM: Meet in lobby to take public transport to visit
9AM-12PM: Visit the National Institute for Health and Welfare with lunch provided
Afternoon: Free time in Helsinki

Transportation: Public transportation passes provided

Day 8: Saturday – May 28, 2016
10AM: Depart Helsinki for Tallinn, Estonia by ferry
Afternoon: Arrive in Tallinn, check into accommodations, and visit Tallinn City Museum, Town Hall Pharmacy, and the Estonian Health Care Museum

Meals: Breakfast
Transportation: Ferry tickets, accommodations to visits (public transportation and walking)

Day 9: Sunday – May 29, 2016
9-11AM: Walking tour of the Old City with guide Heli Reimann
Afternoon: After lunch, enjoy free time to do some sightseeing around Tallinn with hop on/hop off tour bus tickets

Transportation: Accommodations to visits (public transportation and walking), hop on/hop off bus tickets

Day 10: Monday – May 30, 2016
9AM-1PM: Guided tour: Stories of Soviet Legacy
Afternoon: Public health lecture at Tallinn University
6PM: Group Farewell dinner at Mekk Restaurant

Transportation: Accommodations to visits (public transportation and walking)

Day 11: Tuesday – May 31, 2016
8:30AM: Coach bus pick up and trasnfer to e-Estonia
9-10:30AM: e-Estonia Showroom visit
1PM: Check out of accommodations and board the coach with luggage and head to visit at the US Embassy in Estonia
2-4:30PM: US Embassy Visit
4:30PM: Coach pick up at Embassy and transfer to ferry port for group check in
6PM: Ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki
8PM: Arrive in Helsinki, and transfer to accommodations on coach bus

Meals: Breakfast
Transportation: Private coach bus and ferry tickets

Day 12: Wednesday – June 1, 2016
Morning: Check out of accommodations and walk to the airport on own
